Your membership makes you part of CABL, the nonprofit that builds Charlotte's baseball community network. Members get:

• Members-only organized leagues: access to CABL's adult divisions.
• Player development and goal tracking: tools to get better and track your progress.
• Volunteer and give-back events: ways to give back to baseball around Charlotte.

Your team fee: set each year

Team fees depend on how many teams and games we end up with, so we set them fresh each year. Estimates are announced at the November managers meeting, and final numbers are posted after the membership enrollment period closes.

Paying as a team or on your own. Each team decides how it builds and splits its fee. The ground rules: every player is a CABL member or an approved member guest, and the team fee is paid by the deadlines. Your manager will tell you how your team is doing it.

Installments: If you start paying in January, you can pay in installments. Your balance is due in full once the season starts.

Playing on more than one team? You can play in more than one division, just never on 2 teams in the same age group. Team fees can be discounted for players on multiple teams. The membership fee is never discounted.

When registration opens

1. Tap "Play in 2027." It opens CABL 2027 Adult Membership Registration in The Futures App.
2. Create your account or log in. New to The Futures App this year? Everyone is, so don't worry.
3. Choose your division. 18+, 35+ or 45+.
4. Join your team with its Player Code. Your manager will give it to you. No team yet? Register for the free CABL 2027 Free Agent Pool instead. You won't pay anything until you're placed on a team.
5. Pay your membership and league/team fee. 2027 player membership: $100 if you were on a 2026 CABL roster, $125 for everyone else, plus your share of your team fee. Paid in The Futures App. Membership is due by Jan 31.
6. Agree to the league waiver. You'll review it and check "I agree" right in The Futures App.
7. Optional: "OK to text me league updates." It's optional and doesn't affect your registration. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. (Youth registrations: parent or guardian only. We never text youth players.)
8. Check your confirmation. Your manager confirms final rosters by ~Feb 15.

Where to pay

Registration, membership, and league/team fees are all paid inside The Futures App. CABL won't ask you to pay fees by email, text, or cash.
